With the emergence of Hip-Hop in the 80's, two entities really made a stamp in the music industry even to this day. LL Cool J and Run DMC. They are both pioneers not only in hip hop but even other media outlets, such as telvision and cinema. Each of them have achieved alot and really helped hip-hop become mainstream.
