In the eighties there were alot of catchy commercials. Most of them were based off of jingles.You dont find too many jingles in commercials like that anymore. The most recent one I can think is the new Subway Commercial about the $5 footlong subs (Pause! lol)

Dusting Off The 45's Segment- Wall of Voodoo

I decided to start a segment called "Dusting Off the 45's". I am going to dig in the crates for some off the radar 80's clips. Well here is the first one.

I always liked this video. It was also a catchy song to me. I bought the album when I was younger just for this song.

80's Nostalgia- Angel in a Centerfold

When I was younger I thought that this was the first video made. This is a classic 80's video. I love how the drummer is drumming with milk on his drums. Some of the mistsimple things in a video make a video great.



This song brings back good memories of the 80's to me. What nostalgic things bring back memories to you?

The Police or Genesis... Who Do You Think is a Better Band?

I feel this is an interesting question. I think on the surface a lot of people will probably say the Police because of there media popularity. Genesis has a great body of work. Even though they are very popular I feel that they are always under the radar. Both bands have made great music.

School House Rock was a great educational animation series used to come on between cartoons on saturday mornings. I used to love these clips. Conjunction Junction was one of the more popular ones.
