This was a smart concept and the first holiday song made by a hip-hop artist.
It's a great video as well.

Feed The World
It is great to see big name artists get together to do something for a good cause.
Too bad artists do not collaborate to make songs like this anymore.

With the emergence of Hip-Hop in the 80's, two entities really made a stamp in the music industry even to this day. LL Cool J and Run DMC. They are both pioneers not only in hip hop but even other media outlets, such as telvision and cinema. Each of them have achieved alot and really helped hip-hop become mainstream.
My question you all today is. Who did you like better?

Wishing Well Banned
Terence Trent D'Arby is a talented artist that I feel did not get the respect that he should he deserved. He is a great musician was very confident about that in 80's. He was confident enough that he even compared his talent to the Beatles talent being in the just being in the tip of his pinky. After that comment, you never heard too much more of him in the limelight.
He now goes by the name of Sananda Maitreya. He resides in Italy and is still releasing music. His website is http://www.sanandamaitreya.com/

Don't Stop Believing and Spread Love
Today, I thought I would post a couple of motivational music videos. Recently I have been having conversations with people that broke up with someone, lost their job or have just been struggling with some matters in their lives. Well no matter how bad something may seem, there is always an upside. The key is believing that there is hope and having faith. Sometimes I know that may seem hard to do but if you focus on the positive, things will open up for you.
Also now matter what, keep continuing to spread love in the universe. Happiness come from love.
Have a great a day! Stay positive!

He played Han Solo in the "Star Wars" trilogy and Indiana Jones in the "Raiders of the Lost Ark" trilogy. Both characters were heroic. My question to you all is which one role did you like better?

The Atari 2600
Before PSII and X Box there was the Atari 2600. That was the original video component system that was a phenomenon in the 80's. When you look at the graphics now in compared to what a play station game looks like, you can call It a case of video game leprosy. Back then it was heaven. There were many late nights staying up and playing until you turned the game over back to zero. It was a lot of fun!

The $750 Dollar Music Video
As music videos evolved over the decades, the expense to make the has remarkably increased. There have been videos made for over 3 million dollars. That is a alot of money for a 4 minute promotion item that is not guaranteed airplay.
Keep it simple is always something that is preached when promoting or marketing something. Van Halen definitely kept it simple when creating the music video for "Jump". It was recorded in music studio and and edited. It cost them $750 approximately dollars to make this video. It was a top 10 hit on the Billboard Charts and received a bunch of airplay. It was pretty easy for them to recoup that expense from their record sales.
Here's the video
