80's Nostalgia- Angel in a Centerfold

When I was younger I thought that this was the first video made. This is a classic 80's video. I love how the drummer is drumming with milk on his drums. Some of the mistsimple things in a video make a video great.

This song brings back good memories of the 80's to me. What nostalgic things bring back memories to you?

The Police or Genesis... Who Do You Think is a Better Band?

I feel this is an interesting question. I think on the surface a lot of people will probably say the Police because of there media popularity. Genesis has a great body of work. Even though they are very popular I feel that they are always under the radar. Both bands have made great music.

Who do you think is the better band?

Genesis-Invisible Touch

Police-King of Pain

Conjunction Junction

School House Rock was a great educational animation series used to come on between cartoons on saturday mornings. I used to love these clips. Conjunction Junction was one of the more popular ones.

Let me know what you favorite School House Rock Clip was.

Christmas in Hollis

This was a smart concept and the first holiday song made by a hip-hop artist.
It's a great video as well.

Feed The World

It is great to see big name artists get together to do something for a good cause.
Too bad artists do not collaborate to make songs like this anymore.

LL Cool J or Run DMC - Who'd you like better?

With the emergence of Hip-Hop in the 80's, two entities really made a stamp in the music industry even to this day. LL Cool J and Run DMC. They are both pioneers not only in hip hop but even other media outlets, such as telvision and cinema. Each of them have achieved alot and really helped hip-hop become mainstream.

My question you all today is. Who did you like better?

LL Cool J

Run DMC

Terence Trent D'Arby is a talented artist that I feel did not get the respect that he should he deserved. He is a great musician was very confident about that in 80's. He was confident enough that he even compared his talent to the Beatles talent being in the just being in the tip of his pinky. After that comment, you never heard too much more of him in the limelight.

He now goes by the name of Sananda Maitreya. He resides in Italy and is still releasing music. His website is http://www.sanandamaitreya.com/
