Dusting Off the 45's-Huey Lewis and the News-Hip to Be Square

This is a Huey Lewis and the News song that tends to be kept under the radar. It's a great song. Next time you do karaoke, take a stab at performing this song.

Dusting Off the 45's-Paul Carrack- Don't Shed A Tear for Me.

I was actually looking for a Bangles video on You Tube for another blog and came across this song. This is definitley a sleeper. It's one of those songs you hear but never know who the hell sung it. Well now you know.

Catchy Commercial's

In the eighties there were alot of catchy commercials. Most of them were based off of jingles. You dont find too many jingles in commercials like that anymore. The most recent one I can think is the new Subway Commercial about the $5 footlong subs (Pause! lol)

Here are a few catchy commercials.

Oreo

Big Mac

Double Mint Gum

What were you favorite catchy commercials?

Dusting Off The 45's Segment- Wall of Voodoo

I decided to start a segment called "Dusting Off the 45's". I am going to dig in the crates for some off the radar 80's clips. Well here is the first one.

Wall of Voodoo-Mexican Radio

I always liked this video. It was also a catchy song to me. I bought the album when I was younger just for this song.
